Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Location: Chennai

Job Type: 3-month internship followed by Full-Time Employment 

About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to support sales and business growth activities in the Steel Construction / PEB industry. The role involves developing relationships with architects, consultants, and clients, generating business opportunities, managing enquiries, and supporting the overall sales process. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, and key clients.

  • Identify new business opportunities and support lead generation activities.

  • Handle client enquiries and coordinate with internal teams for proposal and quotation submission.

  • Support sales meetings, client follow-ups, and business presentations.

  • Track sales activities and prepare weekly/monthly reports.

  • Assist in expanding market reach and strengthening client networks.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Interest in sales, client management, and business development.

  • Basic understanding of construction/PEB industry concepts.

  • Good coordination, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-driven and target-oriented approach.

Tools / Technologies:

  • MS Excel

  • MS Office Suite

  • CRM Tools (Optional)

  • AutoCAD / Basic Technical Understanding (Preferred)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred from a reputed institution).

  • Freshers or candidates with internship/project exposure in sales, business development, construction, or PEB industry can apply.
