Seeking a Production Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and optimisation of engineering production processes. The role requires ensuring efficient output while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance with technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing activities for industrial furnaces and related subsystems.

• Prepare and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of projects.

• Optimize production processes, workflows, and resource utilization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure accurate implementation on the shop floor.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and quality teams for smooth production execution.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and process flow diagrams

• Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and shop floor coordination

• Mental acuity & alertness at all times

• Sixth sense opportunity recognition

• Skill in decision making in uncertain conditions and problem-solving in the absence of complete or accurate data

• Competence in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvement measures

• Understanding of quality control principles and production performance metrics

• Strong soft skills such as comprehension, communication, team collaboration and attention to detail

Tools/Technologies:

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for production tracking.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or process improvement methodologies will be an asset.

• ​

Eligibility Criteria:

• Hands-on experience in a production engineering capacity.

• A qualified engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related discipline from a recognised university.

• Deep understanding of technology and a solid background in mechanical engineering processes.
